Dimplex North America Limited is a leading company in the market for electrical heating products. The company is a member of the Glen Dimplex Group of companies based in Dublin, Ireland.
In 1991, Dimplex North America Limited made its debut in the North American market. It did this by acquiring various leading electric heating brands such as Sentinel, Electromode, and Westcan.

From patented electric flame technology to the use of high quality materials, Dimplex managed to offer a successful range of fireplaces that exceeded customer expectations. It is also worth pointing out that the company was the one to develop the first ever electric fireplace that had a really realistic and vivid wood burning flame. This was done back in 1995. Dimplex specializes in a wide range of products, including fireplaces and stoves. In North America it is known by the Dimplex brand name for consumers and with the brand name of OptiFlame for builders.
